Today's Top Pick is part 1 of the five-hour documentary about Billy Joel titled, And So It Goes.  I know a lot of people hate Billy Joel.  I enjoy a lot of his stuff but I'm a casual fan at best.  I've lived in the NYC area since 2000, and I've never been to one of his concerts (and God knows there have been a lot of them over the years).  Still, there's no denying how big he was and how his music has persisted.  

One surprising thing I learned about Joel from just watching the trailer is that he is Jewish.  I never in a million years would have guessed that.  No wonder Virginia was hesitant.
