What's On Tonight (Sunday): Patience is a virtue

Patience

Crime on the spectrum! Here's what's on television for tonight, Sunday, June 15!

Our Top Pick tonight is the series premiere of Patience (PBS, 8 p.m.). The detective drama (like there's any other kind in the UK) stars Ella Maisy Purvis as a self-taught criminologist working in a police records office and who is autistic. She catches the eye of DI Laura Fraser (Breaking Bad!), who puts her on her team. The show has been lauded for its portrayal of autism and Purvis herself is autistic. (She previously earned high marks in A Kind of Spark.) Season 2 has already been filmed. Like all Masterpiece shows, the complete season will be available with PBS Passport.

ElsewhereGrantchester is still a show, the Fonz delivers Hazardous History, Ryan Reynolds joins the Underdogs, the Mortician cleanup brings reform, guests checkout of Love Hotel, and Rick and Morty celebrate Easter.
