What's On Tonight (Friday): Killer of Killers, Qu'est-ce Que C'est?

Predator: Killer of Killers

Lots of premieres today, and more than one would make for a good Top Pick.  Amazon has the streaming premiere of The Accountant 2, Disney+ has the fourth season of Phineas and Ferb, and Syfy and USA have the fourth season premiere of Resident Alien.  All of these are excellent options, but I gotta go with the Hulu original film, Predator: Killer of Killers.

Directed by Dan Trachtenberg, who also directed the excellent Prey and the upcoming Predator: Badlands, Killer of Killers is an animated anthology film.  The human combatants are a Viking warrior, a ninja and a WW2 pilot.  If it weren't for that last one, I'd say the Predators must play a lot of Assassin's Creed.

Oh yeah, and Max has the streaming premiere of the DeNiro double duty flick The Alto Kings.  Anyone waiting with bated breath to watch that one at home?  No?  Well, that's why it isn't Top Pick (nor was even considered).

TOP PICK

🎥 Predator: Killer of Killers (Hulu, 12:30 AM) 'Follows three of the fiercest warriors in human history: a Viking raider, a ninja in feudal Japan, and a WWII pilot. But while all these warriors are killers in their own right, they are merely prey for their new opponent -- the ultimate killer of killers.'
