I had labs drawn today for a followup/checkup appointment tomorrow. I won't tell him that I'm likely divorcing him. I've worked with him for a decade now and I like him. He tells me the truth whether or not I want to hear it.
But the hospital that I go to - which is otherwise fine - has handed me over twice now to doctor who has not seen me, talked to me or even read my charts, whose only purpose is to kick me out. If I was a normal person I, or my survivors, would have a lawsuit. I'm too good at self-treatment. I shouldn't have to be. And the underlying conditions remain. Waiting to erupt.
