May is both National Barbecue Month and National Hamburger Month.
Memorial Day BBQ's are usually the kickoff to summer, but in the United States especially, it's not really kept to the one season. Hubby has definitely stood out in a light snow to grill some steaks for us.
I found How to Grill the Best Burgers as well as a suggestion regarding kabobs: don't cook the meat and veggies on the same stick at the same time, as the veggies will cook faster and you don't want your meat under-cooked.
Something to keep in mind while you're outside too, cold dishes should not stay outside for more than two hours - and just one hour if it's warmer than 90 degrees.
Steven Raichlen is the founder of BBQ University, which will host the 2025 class in September, if you're interested!
