L'Italia e' una Repubblica democratica, fondata sul lavoro! Here's what's on television for tonight, Wednesday, March 5!
Our Top Pick tonight is The Leopard (Netflix, 3 a.m.). I'm not one to list — much less spotlight — foreign projects (there are enough American things to keep WOT listings well populated) but this Italian limited series is a new adaptation of Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa's classic historical novel of a prince and his family who get caught up in the political and social upheavals during Italian unification. Young me was a big fan of the 1963 film adaptation with Burt Lancaster, but I haven't revisited it in many years. The production design! The costumes!
Elsewhere, Abbott debates a book, Death comes for skincare, a new Race begins, the Target gets Primed, Wild goes back to its old way, D'Arcy Carden answers in the form of a question, a governor goes for Late Night, and Pop Culture finds its champions.
