No one should ever trust the United States of America ever again. Even when we do the right thing, we will turn on a dime and make everything worse than it was to begin with. Republicans campaigned on criminal illegal immigrants. When they couldn't find "enough" criminals they just started arresting anybody including American citizens. No trial possible once you're in the Supermax in El Salvador. Now we are intentionally going after people who are legally here temporarily. This ranges from Ukrainians who fled from the war that we intend to finish by pounding Ukraine into dust, to Afghans who worked for the US at great risk for themselves and their families by giving us intelligence about the Taliban. Sending any of these people back is a death sentence. And they are innocent. I'm ashamed. [Reuters]
