I'm happily ignoring politics tonight. I have guests and they both have problems at home and our job is to let them vent and then make them happy. It's not all that different from working here.
I have a Playlist playing that's built around the Fania All-Stars. That was formed around Willie Colon and Ruben Blades and was the creation of Boogaloo. Don't think you know Boogaloo? Of course you do. It morphed into salsa. What does this have to do with politics? Everything. The music came from around the Caribbean but was combined in New York. Blades is also an actor and was a Panamanian Presidential candidate. Didn't win. I wish he had.
