The latest biopic from director Pablo Larraín and writer Steven Knight spotlights opera star Maria Callas (Angelina Jolie) when she reflects on her life in 1970s Paris. The duo previously did Spencer, which messy writing/plotting aside, I thought had some solid acting. Larraín also helmed Jackie. I think he can get some good performances out of actors. This film has Oscar buzz!
