What's On Tonight (Tuesday): Fine, I'll buy a damn ticket already!

Via Tumblr.

Tonight's Top Pick is Defying Gravity: The Curtain Rises on Wicked. Hold on until Friday, folks. We're just a little ways away from the end of the great Plug-A-Thon from NBCUniversal.

While I reflect on how one short day in the Emerald City won't even give you time to enjoy that spa to its fullest, let's see what else TV has to offer us for Tuesday, Nov. 19. All times are EST.

STREAMING
Interior Chinatown, 12:01 a.m., Hulu. Series premiere. "Based on Charles Yu's award-winning book of the same name, the show follows the story of Willis Wu (Jimmy O. Yang), a background character trapped in a police procedural called Black & White. Relegated to the background, Willis goes through the motions of his on-screen job, waiting tables and dreaming about a whole world beyond Chinatown. When he inadvertently becomes a witness to a crime, Willis begins to unravel a criminal web in Chinatown, his family's buried history, and what it feels like to be in the spotlight." Ten episodes available.

Making Manson, 3:01 a.m., Peacock. Series premiere. "An explosive series offering unfiltered insights into America's most notorious killer, Charles Manson. Through 20 years' worth of never-before-aired conversations, those closest to the case have their views challenged as Manson talks openly about his part in the infamous crimes, as well as his upbringing, criminal youth and his true feelings about 'The Family.'" Three episodes available.

The French Montana Story: For Khadija, 3:01 a.m., Paramount+. Special presentation. "Follows the extraordinary rise of Moroccan-born, multi-platinum recording artist French Montana, who raises his three young sons in the Bronx as a single mother after being dumped by their father and left penniless."

Jeff Dunham's Scrooged-Up Holiday Special, 12:01 a.m., Amazon. Special presentation. "Ventriloquist Dunham's iconic characters portray roles from A Christmas Carol. Walter as Scrooge clashes with Bubba J, Peanut, Little Jeff, and Achmed over their assigned parts."

Adam Ray’s Dr. Phil Comedy Special, 3:01 a.m., Netflix. Special presentation. "Ray-as-Phil interviews special guests including Patton Oswalt, Jay Pharoah and 'Gollum,' meets the real Dr. Phil, and (gets) to know the audience through silly questions and games."
