Our Top Pick tonight is the series premiere of Dune: Prophecy (HBO & Max, 9 p.m.). This Dune franchise prequel is its own thing, taking place 10,000 years before the Denis Villeneuve films of the original book and after the events of the recent book trilogy Great Schools of Dune. It stars Emily Watson and Olivia Williams as sisters Valya and Tula Harkonnen, who battle opposition and lay the groundwork for the sect Bene Gesserit. The showrunner is Alison Schapker, who more recently co-created Altered Carbon and was showrunner on Westworld's final season.

While her closest personnel were never under suspicion, but with Lt. Reds Rudolph giving the case fresh eyes, he wants to temporarily expand the scope. Gustaf Lakris, who was nearly killed in skirmish after her capture, hinted someone in her inner circle might be responsible before he had to be put in a coma. It doesn't take long for results. DeCarlo's trusted advisor Colin Twitchell is soon caught sending a message to Koal Federation military stronghold, though it's somewhat coded. The news breaks DeCarlo's spirit, who must now work on deceiving Twitchell to help decipher the messages before he's arrest for treason. The blow is chipping away at DeCarlo's strong (but mostly unpopular) antiwar stance.

Ruby and the Well (BYUtv): Ruby uses her wish to keep the well healthy and secret. Emerald's Thanksgiving dinner could be ruined if the wish isn't fulfilled in time. Dan and Brea work together to get Wally to join the fun.

Yellowstone (Paramount Network & CMT): "Beth comes to a realization" that hopefully involves her keeping her clothes on for once. Meanwhile, "Kayce reaches out to an old friend in search of information. Jamie meets with Market Equities."
