What's On Tonight (Saturday): Abortion is healthcare

Zurawski v Texas

Honey, I forgot to duck! Here's what's on television for tonight, Saturday, November 2!

Our Top Pick tonight is Zurawski v Texas (via Eventive, 3:30 a.m.). This new documentary, which is still screening in the film festival circuit, profiles women in Texas who suffered health complications because of bad pregnancies and were denied an abortion. They file a lawsuit against the state. The reviews I read make me think this isn't for the squeamish. For example, you will see a newborn suffer and inevitably die within hours. The doc, which has producers such as Jennifer Lawrence, Hillary Clinton, and Chelsea Clinton, is Oscar eligible, so this is an opportune time for Oscar completeists. It is streaming for free only this weekend -- 3:30 a.m. Saturday through Sunday. Sign-up and see streaming rules here.

ElsewhereInvincible Fight Girl enters the ring, Chappell Roan is Live from New York, Jelly Roll goes to the Limit, there's a One Piece revolt, Reagan dares to defy, and Julianne Nicholson is Janet, dammit.

Her husband was the famed advisor to multiple heads of state in his long life, dating to even before Christmasia was founded. She attempts to clear up some rumors about how strong their influence was in policy. Are they the reason many native beings were pushed to the sidelines in the first constitution? Did they want to settle with Krampus during the War of the First Noel? Did they side with Craig Klaus in his attempted coup to restore the monarchy? It's complicated. Very complicated. (And not a definitive no.)
