What's On Tonight (Thursday): I've got your number

Tonight's Top Pick is 9-1-1, having its Halloween episode tonight. I don't watch the show, but from what I've seen, everything's SO. OVER. THE. TOP. I assume a lot of it's based on true stories?


While I try to differentiate between fantasy and reality, let's see what else TV has to offer us for Thursday, Oct. 24. All times are EST.


STREAMING
The Pasta Queen, 12:01 a.m., Amazon. Series premiere. "Nadia Caterina Munno, descendant of an Italian pasta dynasty, has racked up millions of followers on TikTok and Instagram. Each episode, audiences will travel through Italy with Nadia, then spend time in her chef's kitchen as she shares essential ingredients from the Italian regions she visited, and makes authentic Italian dishes with love." Beauty in Black, 3:01 a.m., Netflix. Series premiere. "A stripper's fate takes a turn when she crosses paths with the wealthy, dysfunctional family behind a cosmetics dynasty and a devious trafficking scheme." Created by Tyler Perry. Eight episodes available.

Territory, 3:01 a.m., Netflix. Series premiere. "When the world's largest cattle station is left without a clear successor, the outback's most powerful factions move in for the kill." Six episodes available.

Canary Black, 3:01 a.m., Amazon. Movie premiere. "Avery Graves (Kate Beckinsale), a CIA operative, is blackmailed by terrorists into betraying her own country to save her kidnapped husband. Cut off from her team, she turns to her underworld contacts to survive."

The Groomsmen: Second Chances, 3:01 a.m., Hallmark+. Movie premiere. "Danny (Jonathan Bennett) finds the courage to admit his romantic feelings for his best friend, when he is asked to be the best man at his wedding in Greece."

Star Trek: Lower Decks, 3:01 a.m., Paramount+. Fifth season premiere. "Dos Cerritos" and "Shades of Green." Two episodes available, followed by one per week through Thursday, Dec. 19.

The Chicken Sisters, 3:01 a.m., Hallmark+. Season finale. "Gaslighter." "A final twist in the reality competition throws both the Mimi's and Frannie's crews for a loop. Frank Jr.'s true colors are revealed."

Teacup, 3:01 a.m., Peacock. "I'm a Witness to the Sickness" and "You Don't Know What It Means to Win." "Travis, holding James hostage, recounts how he was shot and took refuge in the Navarros' basement. James realizes the imminent danger to his family." Later, "James, Ruben and the kids bring a wounded McNab back to the Chenoweths'. James has a chilling realization about his mother and her recent actions." Two episodes available. Season finale next week.

The Midwich Cuckoos: Village of the Damned, 3:01 a.m., Acorn TV/Sundance Now. "In This Together." "Midwich is recovering from the blackout when a shocking discovery is made: every woman of child-bearing age inside the zone on May 6 has fallen pregnant. But of graver concern to Dr Susannah Zellaby (Keeley Hawes) is the unnerving responses of the pregnant women."

Frasier, 3:01 a.m., Paramount+. "My Brilliant Sister." "When Frasier hears that a reclusive author is at his own tailgate party, he enlists Alan and David's help in locating him. A mix-up between Freddy and Eve forces Olivia to deal with two fake boyfriends as she tries to impress her sister."

Celebrations with Lacey Chabert, 3:01 a.m., Hallmark+. "Sophie's 'Barn' Mitzvah." "Sophie volunteers at Ride On Therapeutic Horsemanship Center, assisting young riders and caring for the animals. Lacey teams up with party planners Lisa and Marisa to celebrate Sophie with a pre-bat mitzvah party at the barn."

Good Morning America/GMA3, 7 a.m./1 p.m., ABC. The cast of Broadway's A Wonderful World: The Louis Armstrong Musical performs, plus David Greenberg (John Lewis: A Life), Tory Johnson's Deals & Steals, and Dr. Jessica Shepherd (Generation M). Later, Leslie Bibb (Juror #2), Kathy Griffin (My Life on the PTSD-List), and Neil Makhija, who shares how he's helping people in Montgomery, Pennsylvania, get to the polls.
