What's On Tonight (Saturday): Fame! They're gonna live forever

Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

I'm Batman! Here's what's on television for tonight, Saturday, October 19!

Our Top Pick tonight is the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony 2024 (Disney+, 7 p.m.). I'm holding my nose for this Top Pick because I find the RRHOF a pretty disgusting org given its lack of inclusion in many areas — until it was overwhelmingly called out on it in recent years. There just isn't much on TV. So you could watch people like Mary J. Blige, Cher, Kool & the Gang, and Ozzy Osbourne get in rock hall.

Elsewhere, Michael Keaton is Live from New York, Christmas cable movies are here, Jacob Collier goes to the Limits, Alex Edelman has News, sportsballs will be played, and Uzumaki can't shake its spiral problem.

(All times are Eastern. All listings are new unless otherwise stated. For more listings, visit The Futon Critic or Zap2it.)

πŸ•— PRIMETIME πŸ•š

48 Hours (CBS, 10 p.m. / Paramount+, Sunday): In "Who Killed Aileen Seiden in Room 15?," Aileen Seiden's beaten body is found near a highway, and the next day, a bloody motel room is discovered nearby. Linked? 48 Hours investigates for 1 hour.

πŸŽ₯πŸŽ„ Holiday Crashers (Hallmark Channel, 8 p.m. / Peacock, Sunday): On the eve of a Christmas holiday and back in her home of Pine Valley, Baroness Holly DeCarlo is anxious after recent private meetings with Federation lawmakers about finding a way to end the War on Christmas. Then shots ring out down the street from her downtown residence. Rushing outside, the possible assailants rush by her, one smiling. Colin Twitchell soon appears and tells her it's time to go. Koal Federation forces are approaching the city with little resistance to stop them. For a while, Holly refuses to flee, but when fighting ramps up around her, she does. But it's too late. She is captured, clearly enemy forces knew she was in town. Holly tries reason and arrange a meeting with higher command. Nothing. Then her captors are killed or run as a small special ops force moves in, led by Leah Licorice. Later, Holly is unable to describe the possible assailant that smiled at her. It wasn't a species she knew, just that it had substantial fur and slanted eyes.

πŸŽ₯ Husband, Father, Killer: The Alyssa Pladl Story (Lifetime, 8 p.m.): As a teen, Alyssa has a relationship with abusive Steven, but their path takes a dark turn after she has his child and gives her up for adoption. Years later, their daughter seeks them out, and Steven manipulates her into an affair.

πŸŽ₯πŸŽ„ A Vintage Christmas (Great American Family, 8 p.m.): The story of the final Christmas holiday in the Koal Federation. It was a holiday only lightly celebrated in the Federation, which had made mostly friendly relations with Christmasia since Knecht Ruprecht pushed Krampus out of power, but it was starting to be pushed as a continental celebration. However, this is the day when Krampus finally brings together his new alliance to begin the Klaubauf Crusades. With numerous Dark Elves of the Coal Islands and Red Leprechauns from the south, Krampus seizes the islands and begins landing in the mainland with marches toward Castle Hart and Svart Lakrits. For many citizens, it's a to flee, but for the sly politician Namahage, he chooses at the last minute to not run and instead re-embrace Krampus. Hiding that allegiance, he will ultimately be the one who quickly ushers in Ruprecht's downfall.
