[*slides into your DMs*]! Here's what's on television for tonight, Wednesday, September 28!
Our Top Pick tonight is the series premiere of Uzumaki (Adult Swim, 12:30 p.m. / Max, Sunday). This is another attempt by Adult Swim to provide a horror anime to its Toonami lineup. Shoutout to 2022's Housing Complex C, which started strong but couldn't quite deliver on its premise. The 4-part series, based on a late '90s manga, is a Cartoon Network co-production and certainly has plenty of horror vibes in the previews I've seen.
Elsewhere, SNL kicks off the big Five-O, Johnson changes the menu, Mark McKinnon has News, Hallmark goes West, One Piece wants a Smile, Lifetime solicits private pics, and 48 Hours goes to the tub.
