Time after time! Here's what's on television for tonight, Wednesday, August 7!

Our Top Pick tonight is Time Bandits (Apple TV+, midnight). This TV misfire takes Terry Gilliam's 1981 film and stretches it from 2 hours to 10 episodes. A cast led by Lisa Kudrow and helming from Taika Waititi and Jemaine Clement, this series is faithful with the bandits finding young Kal-El Tuck in our present and traveling time. It's still about a map. I read it gets better but life's too short. I didn't like the first couple episodes — but I also don't care for the original.

Elsewhere, Amelia Earhart is still missing, the Osbournes want to Be a Millionaire, David Attenborough tells us a Secret, Sistas makes decisions, Sunny finds friends, Dance Moms begins a new generation and Olympians wanna win.
