What's On Tonight (Tuesday): In the Midnight Hour

Via Giphy.

Tonight's Top Pick is the first season finale of Sasha Reid and the Midnight Order. So, funny story ... You might notice that Freeform hasn't been showing up in my movie listings anymore. It's because it doesn't show up in the zap2it listings for Kalamazoo. Luckily, Freeform's original programming is noted on Futon Critic.

While I set out to solve a crime, let's see what else TV has to offer us for Tuesday, Aug. 6. All times are EST.

STREAMING
At Wit's End -- The Hunt for a Killer, 12:01 a.m., Hulu. Series premiere. "In 1994, 19-year-old Melissa Witt went missing from an Arkansas bowling alley. After six weeks of a community-wide search effort, Melissa's body was found deep in the Ozark National Forest, 50 miles from where she disappeared. Thirty years later, the new docuseries explores the ongoing search for answers in Melissa's case and follows new investigators as they comb through extensive evidence, uncovering new information in the decades-long search for her killer." Four episodes available.

PD True, 3:01 a.m., Paramount+. Series premiere. "features real, raw, and unfiltered stories shared between the men and women officers who worked shoulder-to-shoulder to solve shocking and even unthinkable crimes. In each episode they recount serial killings, mass shootings, crimes of passion and revenge, and more. Viewers may have seen the headlines and know the basics, but they've never heard them from the cops themselves, who had to sift through horrific crime scenes or carry out risky undercover assignments. What got them through, they say, is never quitting on the mission and their dogged determination to see justice done." Ten episodes available.
