What's On Tonight (Thursday): Under my umbrella, ella, ella, eh, eh, eh

Via Giphy.

Tonight's Top Pick is the final season of The Umbrella Academy, streaming on Netflix. Because after last week's M**f of Norway mess, I decided to keep the sauciness firmly in the good ol' fashioned gay realm.

While I reflect on how screengrabs almost make up for the many, many shows I just don't watch, let's see what else TV has to offer us for Thursday, Aug. 8. All times are EST.

STREAMING
One Fast Move, 12:01 a.m., Amazon. Premiere. "A destitute young man (K.J. Apa) reconnects with his estranged father (Eric Dane) for support while trying to become a professional motorcycle racer. With a motorcycle store owner (Edward James Olmos)'s help, he begins to dismantle the emotional barriers built by his father's absence."

The Umbrella Academy, 3:01 a.m., Netflix. Fourth Season Premiere/Series Finale. Ten episodes available?

Evil, 3:01 a.m., Paramount+. "Fear of the Other." "A countdown begins, and the team receives an offer they never expected."

Mr. Throwback, 3:01 a.m., Peacock. Series Premiere. "A down-on-his-luck memorabilia dealer (Adam Pally) looks for redemption by reuniting with his sixth-grade teammate, NBA legend Steph Curry." Six episodes available.

Kennedy, Sinatra, and the Mafia, 3:01 a.m., Sundance Now. Series Premiere. "With his links to the mob and access to entertainment industry star power, Frank Sinatra helped John F. Kennedy into the White House in 1960. However, the Chicago Outfit crime syndicate was soon targeted by the Kennedy administration and The President abruptly cut all links with the mafia, including Sinatra. Featuring expert interviews and first-hand accounts, this revealing documentary tells the extraordinary story of the friendship between two of the 20th century's greatest icons: how they met, the women and secrets they shared, and how it all went so horribly wrong." Two episodes available.
