What's On Tonight (Wednesday): Innocent until proven guilty

Presumed Innocent

I know you like this dirty pop! Here's what's on television for tonight, Wednesday, July 24!

Our Top Pick tonight is the season finale Presumed Innocent (Apple TV+, midnight). The series is a new adaptation of Scott Turow's book that was previously adapted with Harrison Ford. This version stars Jake Gyllenhaal and is helmed by TV veteran David E. Kelley. Prosecutor Gyllenhaal becomes the prime suspect when a colleague is murdered. Tonight, we find if Gyllenhaal did it. The cast includes Ruth Negga, Bill Camp, O-T Fagbenle as Nico Della Guardia, and Peter Sarsgaard. I'm going to assume this is a seasonal anthology series because a second season has been ordered. [*glares at The Killing*]

ElsewhereTime Bandits is now a TV show, Pete Rose gets docuseries treatment, Lou Pearlman did the boys Dirty, the Women makes final decisions, Nova goes to Maine waters, Biden addresses his fellow Americans, Wayne Brady gets a reality show, Jimmy Kimmel Live! gets blockbuster'd and Gordon Ramsay finds a Star.
