MORE THAN ONE MEANING // LET'S GO TO THE CONCERT HALL // OCCUPATIONAL POTPOURRI // WOMEN IN GOVERNMENT // 1980s AMATEUR WRESTLING // STATES THAT END IN HAMPSHIRE

DD1 - $800 - LET'S GO TO THE CONCERT HALL - It's a daytime concert, so the program will include accessible stuff for the kids like "Mars, the Bringer of War" from this suite (Isaac improved by $1,200 to $2,800.)

Scores at first break: Isaac $4,200, Robert $400, Liz $400.

Scores entering DJ: Isaac $6,400, Robert $1,000, Liz $0.

Double Jeopardy!

19th CENTURY NOVELS // ANIMAL SYNERGY // ALPHABETICALLY LAST // NO.1 ALBUMS BY PEOPLE WHO AREN'T TAYLOR SWIFT // HEIR // "B" & "B"

DD2 - $800 - 19th CENTURY NOVELS - Cynical clerk Newman Noggs has the same initials as the hero of this Dickens book he's in (Liz added $2,000 to her score of $400.)

DD3 - $1,600 - ALPHABETICALLY LAST - Of the 6 U.S. presidents named James (On the very next clue after DD2, Liz dropped $2,000 to return to $400.)

This was an easy one for Isaac, clearly leading at every break and on cruise control into FJ at $18,400 vs. $5,800 for Robert and $1,200 for Liz.

Final Jeopardy!

COUNTRIES OF THE WORLD - Until 1991 this country, named for a river, had a capital whose name means “lakes” in Portuguese

Only Isaac was correct on FJ, adding $1,600 to win with $20,000 for a seven-day total of $161,388.

Final scores: Isaac $18,400, Robert $5,800, Liz $1,200.

Triple Stumper of the day: No one guessed the weight class in amateur wrestling that is even heavier than heavyweight is super heavyweight.

Judging the writers: If your category title has so many words that you have to shrink the font, making it difficult to read when the full board is displayed, that's too many words.

Correct Qs: DD1 - What is "The Planets"? DD2 - What is "Nicholas Nickleby"? DD3 - Who was Polk? FJ - What is Nigeria?
