DD1 - $600 - GEO-POURRI - The Brahmaputra River runs through 3 countries from its source to its confluence with this other great river (Alex dropped $600 on a true DD.)

Scores at first break: Isaac $5,800, Alex $0, Sarah $2,400.

Scores entering DJ: Isaac $7,000, Alex $400, Sarah $3,000.

DD2 - $1,200 - EMOTIONAL WORDS? - This slang term for an unethical lawyer starts with a bashful word (Isaac added $2,000 to his leading score of $15,000.)

DD3 - $1,600 - PACIFIC ISLANDS - Theodore Roosevelt won a Nobel Peace Prize for helping to negotiate the Treaty of Portsmouth, ending a war between these 2 countries (Isaac improved by $2,000 to $19,800.)

Final Jeopardy!

WORLD LANGUAGES - The flag of Aruba features a 4-pointed star symbolizing its 4 major languages; the local Papiamento & these 3 imported ones

Only Alex was correct on FJ. Isaac dropped $4,000 to win with $22,200 for a three-day total of $70,186.

Final scores: Isaac $22,200, Alex $2,010, Sarah $500.

That's before their time: The players missed clues about classic TV shows "Bewitched" and "Bonanza", as well as not knowing the new baseball team in 1962 that was notably bad, the Mets.

Wagering strategy: Sarah pulled a "runner-up Clavin", having a lock on second with a proper wager and no chance to catch first, yet betting enough to finish third with a miss on FJ.

Correct Qs: DD1 - What is the Ganges? DD2 - What is shyster? DD3 - What are Russia and Japan? FJ - What are English, Dutch and Spanish?
