Jeopardy! recap for Mon., Jun. 24

 Here are today's contestants:

- Erin Buker, a stay-at-home-mom from San Pedro, California; and

- Drew Basile, a graduate student from Birmingham, Michigan. Drew is a three-day champ with winnings of $53,282.

DD3 - $1,600 - OLDE CARS - Studebaker, maker of an electric car around 1900, was based in this town; Knute Rockne worked part-time in sales (Drew dropped just $200 from his total of $24,200 vs. $10,200 for Graham.)


Drew began pulling away in the latter part of round one, and found both DDs in DJ to lock it up into FJ at $26,400 vs. $11,000 for Graham. It was a day to forget for Erin, who finished DJ at -$7,200.

Both players were incorrect on FJ. Drew dropped $4,000 to win with $22,400 for a four-day total of $75,682.

Overpriced clue of the day: $2,000 for knowing the presidential nickname of Coolidge, known for his "frugality with words", was "Silent Cal".
