There are a lot of stories right now with differing opinions on rights and wrongs and rights denied. I have strong opinions on most of them. But this weekend I've got one, or actually several stories stick in my head. I went to see the play/musical Nina Simone: Four Women. It's the story of Nina Simone writing "Mississippi Goddam" while haunted by the four little girls who had been blown apart in a racist church bombing. As she struggles to get the song down on paper ("Alabama Goddam - that don't scan.") she is visited by three of the four women from another of her songs. She doesn't realize until the end that she is the fourth woman - and to an extent she is all of them.
Political Discussion welcome.
