We finally did our first box, and we enjoyed it. This was the Dilly Pork Fillet recipe with green beans and couscous. Another recipe had us make carrot fries, and we've already replicated that.
We have another box arriving today.
I like that the portion sizes mean very little leftovers, and I like us getting new ideas instead of making the same things. Overall, the cost for three meals isn't any worse than we'd spend at the store.
But I haven't been satisfied with the whole setup. I used a promo that would get me a free item for life, so I chose one and thought it was set. But apparently I have to select it each time, and I have to remember to log in each week to skip a delivery since there's no way we need it every week.
Our actual first delivery was returned to them damaged, so they gave me a credit - but there I lost my "first box" discount and the credit can't be used with a promo. I need to call and see if they can just refund my card....
The food is good though.
