What's On Tonight (Tuesday): Lifting The Veil

Via Giphy.

Tonight's Top Pick is the debut of Elisabeth Moss' newest, The Veil. The official plot summary sounds less action-packed than what the promo promises. "The Veil explores the surprising and fraught relationship between two women who play a deadly game of truth and lies on the road from Istanbul to Paris and London. One woman has a secret, the other a mission to reveal it before thousands of lives are lost. In the shadows, mission controllers at the CIA and French DGSE must put differences aside and work together to avert potential disaster."

While I reflect on how there never are any harmless games of truth and lies, let's see what else TV has to offer us for Tuesday, April 30. All times are EST.

STREAMING
The Veil, 12:01 a.m., FX on Hulu. Premiere. "The Camp" and "Crossing the Bridge." "Imogen visits a refugee camp in the remote mountains on the Turkish and Syrian border. Amongst the chaos, she seeks out Adilah, who has been separated and detained from the rest of the refugees." Later, "Imogen and Adilah continue on their journey to Paris and face a threat in Istanbul. Meanwhile, the pressure mounts on the CIA and DGSE to determine the true identity of the 'Djinn al Raqqa.'" Two episodes available, followed by one per week through Tuesday, May 28.
