I've got too many stories to talk about and very little linkage ability so let's rush right through this.
Someone here knew they were going to have a baby, no question, but they went to a pregnancy crisis center and suffered through the spiel. Why? To get all the free expensive baby supplies. Anything that drains their budget and not ours is good by me. There's now a push to get state attorneys general to look into what these centers are doing with the massive amounts of data they are collecting from people that they tell that it's all confidential. Not true. Because it is free they are not bound by HIPPA. That's fraud and potentially harmful to the women who go there. [NBC]
