The New Look |
Where are those good old-fashioned values on which we used to rely?! Here's what's on television for tonight, Wednesday, March 6!
Our Top Pick tonight is the Paris-set series The New Look (Apple TV+, midnight). The period drama follows Christian Dior (Ben Mendelsohn) after World War II when he created his influential "New Look" fashion line and began feuding with the established Coco Chanel (Juliette Binoche), who gets her wartime life dissected here, including collaborations with Nazi-German occupiers. The cast includes Maisie Williams as Christian's sister, John Malkovich as Lucien Lelong, and Emily Mortimer. Glenn Close guested as Harper's editor Carmel Snow. A second season is already in the works.
Elsewhere, Family Guy returns to Wednesdays after 23 years away, Crosshair is Bad, porn involves Supersex, revenge is in the Constellation, Paula Zahn is still On the Case, a wellness retreat gets Wild, the Alien gets distracted, and Erika Jayne gets her own show.
