I managed to get back to the hotel at a fairly decent hotel after a fairly indecent thoroughly enjoyable drag show. Their was also a contest in which contestants represented the various districts of Vienna.
I'm still recuperating from three days awake and an awful lot of travel. It took me awhile to find enough adaptors to plug everything. It will be simpler on the boat where every outlet will be multipurpose and there will be USB slots.
But I found the time for news. Sunday tends to have low traffic and I usually don't have much to report. I've got a few stories this time though.

To block or not to block....
The Supremes have sent cases back down to the Appellates (one of the lesser Motown acts) to determine first amendment violations when government officials block their critics on line. This is another punt. The first was when they put off deciding whether or not Trump had the right to ban critics on then-Twatter and declared it moot when he lost the election. [Guardian]
Another reason that I'm pissed off about taking a vacation at the wrong time. A little background first. Wisconsinites can place a non-binding referendum on the ballot but only our gerrymandered legislature can place a binding resolution on the ballot. We've already got an abortion ban on the ballot. And now we've got a plan to restrict support for public elections to government officials. Removing supporters such as the League of Women Voters will gut the election process in places where the GOP starve the budget. There is no way this Senate and Assembly will pass anywhere near enough to fund elections in Milwaukee and Madison. This has been happening in other Republican states and it shifts the electorate falsely to the right. [ABC]
Peter Navarro is desperate to stay out of prison. He's using Trump as an excuse. The Supremes just might let him even though his contempt of Congress is obvious. I mean we still have Gym Jordan running Judiciary with a contempt of the same committee of Congress hanging over his head. [Guardian]
Not only are GOP policies driven by hate but they are extremely expensive too. [CNN]
