Our Top Pick tonight is 30th Screen Actors Guild Awards (Netflix, 8 p.m.). The award season is presented by the major actors union (Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists) for performances in movies and TV. It is notable for being a barometer for Oscars contenders. Will the Oppenheimer tidal wave be cooled? Do good things come to Poor Things? It doesn't hold much influence on the Emmys.

As usual, there are 15 acting awards with 13 presented in the ceremony, which formally moves to Netflix after 2+ decades at TNT and then a transitional year on Netflix's YouTube. Oppenheimer is expected to win big in the movie categories with The Holdovers, Poor Things, and Killers of the Flower Moon battling for the scraps. Succession, The Bear, and Beef are predicted to sweep their TV categories. And I love a good upset. (There's no live-thread this year.)

🎥 Sense and Sensibility (Hallmark Channel / Peacock, Sunday): After the death of their father, the Dashwoods' entire world changes drastically. While one sister is torn between two men, the other is holding out hope for the man who has her heart.

Where Is Wendy Williams? (Lifetime): SERIES PREMIERE. Over the course of two years, cameras chronicled the former television and radio host, Wendy Williams, on the next phase of her life, following the end of her talk show.✔️

In this episode, the "Danfield Women's Volunteer Fire Fighters put on Shakespeare's play Antony and Cleopatra. Lucy is cast as Cleopatra with Viv, in male drag, as Marc Antony. The two dueling divas try to upstage each other during the performance, infuriating their pretentious director Professor Gitterman."
