What's On Tonight (Wednesday): I'm one with Chicago, and Chicago is with me

Chicago Fire

You're the only hope I've ever known, Chicago! Here's what's on television for tonight, Wednesday, January 17!

Our Top Pick tonight is the indestructible Chicago Fire (NBC, 9 p.m. / Peacock, Thursday). The firehouse drama along with its Windy City siblings return after the strike hiatus and resurrect NBC's Chicago Wednesday. Fire is entering its 12th season. TWELVE. I watched the first season of the show, but I refuse to believe it was that long ago. NBC and Dick Wolf hasn't gotten back to me on my concepts Chicago Parks, Chicago Library, and Chicago Sanitation.

Elsewhere, The CW plays its Wild CardsBlue Lights light up Belfast, Netflix tells an American Nightmare, Dionne Warwick Can See Your Voice, Tubi and Vice examine Epstein, and the Svenssons are back to the Law.

(All times are Eastern. All listings are new unless otherwise stated. For more listings, visit The Futon Critic or Zap2it.)
