This was the year that was! Here's what's on television for tonight, Wednesday, December 27!
Our Top Pick tonight is Slow Horses (Apple TV+, midnight). The British spy thriller, based on the Slough House books, is about various flopped MI-5 agents (Jack Lowden, Rosalind Eleazar) who aren't fired but sent to purgatory, under the oversight of the miser Gary Oldman. Despite being outcasts who mostly push papers, they find plots to endanger Britain and go to work. I'm not current on the show. It's okay. There are sparks of greatness but most of it is above-average espionage thriller. I kind it kinda... forgettable.
Elsewhere, the Kennedy Center has Honors, What If examines a repelling of colonization, a Camp is a Nightmare, we go behind the Women of Wrestling, ABC and NBC with E! profile 2023, and the Sistas are still family.
