We're flying tonight because in Mexico New Year's can be as big or bigger than Christmas. I'm not even sure who we are celebrating with this year since most of the usual suspects and two generations will be missing. My partner suspects that we'll spend the night with my sister-in-law's family. I met some of them once at their wedding reception. I've barely met his brother's family. It's guaranteed to be a fiesta.
