What's On Tonight (Thursday): As Good as Golden

Via Giphy.

Tonight's Top Pick is the season (and let's be honest, it's clearly going to be a season, not a series) finale of The Golden Bachelor. If it wouldn't be incredibly irresponsible, but admittedly somewhat compelling and more than a little funny, I could see ABC greenlighting The Little Bachelor, centering around teenagers.

While I lament that they didn't actually dip bachelor Gerry in gold, let's see what else TV has to offer us for Thursday, Nov. 30. All times are EST.

STREAMING
Bookie, 3:01 a.m., Max. Series premiere. "From Emmy-nominated creator Chuck Lorre (The Big Bang Theory) and Nick Bakay, this darkly funny comedy follows veteran Los Angeles bookie Danny (Sebastian Maniscalco) as the potential legalization of sports gambling in California threatens to upend his business for good. Alongside best friend and former NFL player Ray (Omar J. Dorsey), side-hustling sister Lorraine (Vanessa Ferlito), and reluctantly reformed drug dealer Hector (Jorge Garcia), Danny must contend with his increasingly unstable clients as he tries to settle their debts - all while making plenty of risky bets of his own. Full of relatable mishaps, Bookie chronicles one man's journey to adapt to an ever-changing world as he attempts to charm and con his way to the top." Two episodes available.

Obliterated, 3:01 a.m., Netflix. Series premiere. "A special forces team thwarts a deadly plot in Sin City and parties accordingly. But when the real threat emerges, they must sober up to save Las Vegas." Eight episodes available.

The Bad Guys: A Very Bad Holiday, 3:01 a.m., Netflix. Premiere. "When Christmas is canceled due to a major accident caused by the Bad Guys involving a giant Santa Claus parade balloon, the Bad Guys have to abandon their citywide holiday heist and rekindle the holiday spirit by giving instead of taking." No, none of the stars from the Bad Guys movie are reprising their roles.

Colin From Accounts, 3:01 a.m., Paramount+. First season finale. "Bandit" and "High Needs People." "Ashley and Gordon’s relationship is tested when she invites her party-loving friends to Echo Park to celebrate her birthday." Later, "Ashley and Gordon must find a new home for Colin so they can go their separate ways." Two episodes available.
