What's On Tonight (Sunday): 90 is the new 60

60 Minutes

All right! Here's what's on television for tonight, Sunday, October 8!

Our Top Pick tonight is the newly super-sized 60 Minutes (CBS, 7:30 p.m. / Paramount+, Monday). With a lack of fall programming, CBS' long-running 60-minute weekly newsmagazine 60 Minutes is now 90 minutes. In the modern spirit of revivals, the Eye should've revived 30 Minutes or called the last 30 minutes 60 Minutes II: 30 Minutes. 60 Minutes at 90 minutes seems like a lie. Kinda like how 48 Hours is only 1 hour or how 20/20 Downtown didn't always have stories about downtowns or how we never see a 360-degree shot of Anderson Cooper on Anderson Cooper 360°.

Elsewhere, Showtime retells the Caine Mutiny Court-MartialThe Gold escapes, a Simpson dreads an empty nest, Krap unleashes Prometheus, ABC has an origin story, Daryl Dixon remembers, and Guy gets a new job.
