What's On Tonight (Saturday): We got the Metal madness

Metal Massacre: The Story of the Legendary Album

You know our fans are insane! Here's what's on television for tonight, Saturday, October 28!

Our Top Pick tonight is the documentary Metal Massacre: The Story of the Legendary Album (AXS TV, 9 p.m.). The music doc, part of AXS' Heavy Metal Halloween, traces the story of the rising metal scene in early '80s Los Angeles. When Metal Blade founder Brian Slagel puts together the compilation album Metal Massacre, it becomes a sensation, launching the careers of Metallica, Ratt, and Bitch.

Elsewhere, comedian Nate Bargatze is Live from New York, Lifetime needs you to kill, Netflix has a Korean Diva, All Rise won't go quietly, Oprah chats with Kerry Washington, and Margo Price goes to the Limits.

πŸŽ₯ How to Frame a Family (Tubi, 3 a.m.): No, this is not about a photographer trying to crop a family photo and find the perfect frame for it. "Amelia and her teen son Rex move to an opulent neighborhood. While Amelia and Rex try to embrace this glamorous new world, Rex is accused of something unthinkable, and Amelia must decide whom to trust and protect."

πŸŽ₯πŸŽ„ Bringing Christmas Home (Great American Family): A professor of military history teams with an antique store owner to help track down the original owner of a historic World War II uniform and the love letters in its pockets.

πŸŽ₯πŸŽ„ Mystic Christmas (Hallmark Channel / Peacock, Sunday): Deep within the Draoidheachd Mountains, there are pixies who still live in the underground, practicing something close to a way of life that is many thousands of years old, magic included. We know they exist; there are many clues on the surface that they exist, such as small farm fields, landmarks, and tree cutting, but seeing them is rare and finding one of their cities is even rarer. Some accounts exist, the most famous being a census taker shortly after the War of the Second Noel, who visited an underground town and witnessed a dance to celebrate the horse, which they're said to have a spiritual connection with. Such reports are widespread, and Krampus, knowing a war (War on Christmas) is on the horizon, sends his agent Jack Skellington to check it out and report back. Legends exist of being able to call on ancestral spirits, controlling wildlife, and even raising the dead -- a popular tale within the Pixie Wars legend that may or may not have happened millennias ago. But on Skellington's trail is the rookie agent Jingle Belle and Yukon Cornelius, the earlier on one of her first missions and the latter is soon-to-be retired. Jingle is out to take Skellington down before he finds any cave entrance, but Yukon, who once faced Skellington in the War of the Third Noel, believes he can turn Skellington to their side. Yukon has a feeling a war is coming, but no one in Christmasia believes him. The War of the Third Noel was the war to end all wars.

πŸŽ₯ Would You Kill for Me?: The Mary Bailey Story (Lifetime): The lives of three generations of women take a turn for the worse when one of them becomes trapped in a toxic relationship with an increasingly abusive man.

πŸ“Ί The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour (Catchy Comedy): The guest stars came out for this occasional post-I Love Lucy show following the further misadventures of the Richardos and Mertzes. In elementary school, these episodes was my introduction to people like Fred MacMurray, Ida Lupino, Ernie Kovacs, Paul Douglas, Tallulah Bankhead, Rudy VallΓ©e, and more. In this episode, "Lucy wants Milton Berle in little Ricky's school play. So while at his office, she overhears that he can't concentrate on writing a new book, so she offers up her home so that he can write in peace, without anyone else's knowledge. Ricky jumps to the conclusion that Lucy is having an affair."

πŸ“Ί Lawman (MeTV+, 11 p.m.): I'm searching for a listing that is either new or a classic not available on streaming for this listing block. This late '50s/early '60s Western starring John Russell as the town marshal of Laramie fits the bill.
