What's On Tonight (Saturday): Northern Vet-posure

Dr. Oakley, Yukon Vet

Yo! Here's what's on television for tonight, Saturday, October 21!

Our Top Pick tonight is Dr. Oakley, Yukon Vet (National Geographic Wild, 10 p.m.). The show profiles Dr. Michelle Oakley, a veterinary who works in both Yukon and Alaska because all American borders are anarchy. Her daughters serve as assistants and the show follows her as she deals with the needs of furballs big and small in the great north.

Elsewhere, Bad Bunny returns to Studio 8H for double duty, All Rise for passionfruit, Wendi McLendon-Covey has a Bad Romance, the War on Christmas returns, and Hulu streams a Fiesta Latina.

πŸŽ₯πŸŽ„ Where Are You, Christmas? (Hallmark Channel / Peacock, Sunday): As the War on Christmas enters its fourth year with no end in sight, a small group of Christmasia lawmakers are quietly talking about ways to find some sort of peace. Such talks in public would be political suicide -- this is a time of war and patriotism, after all -- so they are all off-the-record and behind closed doors with only the most trusted colleagues. All are concerned that the nation's soul is being lost in an endless war. They are led by Baroness Holly DeCarlo, who begins a letter exchange with a childhood classmate, Kelsa Carbuncle, member of the Koal Federation's one legislative body, the National Council. In the midst of war all along the nation's border, DeCarlo, her sister, Lilly, and Baron Charles Shoemaker go to the small town of Longleaf Village in Pine Valley, just inside the Federation borders to meet Carbuncle, who brings her trusted colleague Colin Twitchell. They don't discuss major actions, they just want to know if a peaceful solution might be possible. As an aos sΓ pixie, Carbuncle would like an end given the treatment of pixies through the Federation, often forced into hard labor jobs. Twitchell, an elf, tries to get more action out of the group, but everyone pushes back. It's too early for anything in the open, though Lilly, who has political ambitions, always wants to hear him out. In the post-credit scene, Twitchell, with a slight grin, goes into a private with Krampus.
