There is nothing good going on on the other side of the world right now. We've only stopped seeing headlines about Ukraine and Russia because of the atrocities in another arena. Not because anything has been solved. We have tens of millions of people displaced due to climate change but we refuse to make the slightest effort. The US and Europe have committed to stand with Israel but the Republicans in the House would rather hold a Civil War than approve ambassadors or military officers. We can throw money at the problems but we won't. I don't think propping up Netanyahu is a good move but Hamas must be stopped. So must Putin. Can we do all of that and save the planet. I'm not feeling too good about that right now.
