What's On Tonight (Wednesday): Dogs gone

Reservation Dogs

Hey shitass! Here's what's on television for tonight, Wednesday, September 27!

Our Top Pick tonight is the series finale of Reservation Dogs (Hulu, midnight). This brilliant, Peabody Award-winning show about young indigenous people living on a reservation has been an exploration of healing from grief and finding one self in its short but all-important run. All the young actors (Devery Jacobs, D'Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai, Lane Factor, Paulina Alexis) deserve big careers. The show, an unabashed and fully absorbed look at indigenous life and culture, also does an impeccable job of giving its supporting characters small but meaningful arcs as they leave a mark on the Dogs and family. While this often tagged a comedy, it regularly walks that fine drama-comedy line.

ElsewherePhysical goes for healing, Henry Sugar has a Story, a new tribe is speaking, Strange Planet closes with an eclipse, Euthanasia gets put down, Melissa Monsters spin the Wheel, Fox sells Snake Oil, Pyramids are built again, Archer goes to a resort, and America finds Talent.
