Our Top Pick tonight is Krapopolis (Fox, 8:30 p.m.). This new animated sitcom set in mythical Ancient Greece where the son of a goddess (Richard Ayoade) tries to create "civilization" seems pretty misplaced on Fox. The quirky characters like ego-driven goddess mom (Hannah Waddingham), human/manicure dad (Matt Berry), and sea monster brother (Duncan Trussell) are an odd bunch. The show is violent-ish (for broadcast), but the overall tone doesn't reflect it, which makes its humor feel neutered.

Elsewhere, The Simpsons is old enough to be president, John Oliver is back to discuss Last Week, Australia shares its Crazy Fun Park, the Bling Ring recalls their heists, Courtney B.
