What's On Tonight (Saturday): Ruby, do you know what you're doing to me

Ruby and the Well

Third base! Here's what's on television for tonight, Saturday, September 30!

Our Top Pick tonight is Ruby and the Well (BYUtv.com, 3 a.m.). This begins the third season of the uber-family-friendly series about teenager Ruby (Zoe Wiesenthal), who is the well keeper for an old wishing well on her dad's (Kristopher Turner) recently inherited land. Therefore, she is in charge of fulfilling wishes of the local townspeople. It is by no means peak TV, but it knows its purpose and goals and achieves them admirably.

ElsewhereFLCL goes Shoegaze, Johnson an Amish Stud prefers his mistress, 48 Hours plays the Feud, and Zombies become crickets.

⭐ Ruby and the Well (BYUtv.com, 3 a.m.): SEASON THREE-ish. "Ruby emerges from the challenges of the previous season and doubles down on her commitment to being a well keeper. After all, granting wishes is who she is." I'm not sure if this is just the premiere episode or the entire season. The show will air linearly on Sundays.
