Our Top Pick tonight is The Afterparty (Apple TV+, midnight). Like the first, this season finds Tiffany Haddish and Sam Richardson leading an murder investigation where everyone present is a suspect. Last season it was after a high school reunion; this time it is the day after a wedding. Every episode focuses on a specific suspect and tells their story as a genre short -- romcom, musical, teen drama, period drama, psychological thriller, etc. It doesn't always deliver, but I always admire its ambitions.
Elsewhere, the Invasion must be squandered, Big Brother turns 25 (seasons, not years), The Hardy Boys sign off, Hulu's This Fool gets an FX preview, our Footprint gives rise to the Replacements, The Wonder Years has the house to itself, and Sharks enjoy some Cocaine.
