Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue! Here's what's on television for tonight, Wednesday, August 2!
Our Top Pick tonight is the finale of Hijack (Apple TV+, midnight). The limited series, led by Idris Elba, is about the hijacking on a 7-hour Dubai-to-London flight. It is an interesting premise but spread out over 7 episodes (mostly told in real-time)... I checked out after 3. Sorry, Archie Panjabi and Eve Myles. Love is not enough! And Aimée Kelly! I haven't seen her since Wolfblood.
Elsewhere, Physical and Reservation Dogs begin their 3rd and final seasons, your Food is Poisoned, The Afterparty recalls a heist, Josie visits Riverdale, Dean enters his theater Years, Nancy Drew needs some help, Rocket's full (and heartbreaking) backstory hits Disney+.

Apple TV+, which is usually pretty good about episodes and descriptions, has thus far, provided nothing about the premiere episodes. I know Zooey Deschanel joins the cast as Rose's rival (or something).
Reservation Dogs (FX on Hulu, midnight): SEASON PREMIERE. We got 2 episodes kicking off this final season. (*I feel like I just said that*) "Teenie brings the Rez Dogs home." And later, "Bear is at a crossroads."
