Raven's Home |
[*phone rings*]! Here's what's on television for tonight, Sunday, August 13!
Our Top Pick tonight is the family sitcom Raven's Home (Disney Channel, 8 p.m.). This follow-up series to the teen sitcom That's So Raven has now aired longer than the original. Though it was given a heavy facelift last season by dropping much of its cast and moving its setting. I wonder if that qualifies it as a reboot -- which Disney likes to do so it can be classified as a new show and continue to underpay the young cast. I don't like the show, but I admire Raven-Symoné's meticulous command of the physical comedy.
