Mark Meadows really thinks he's special. He's been ordered to turn himself in at Fulton County Jail. Even Donald Trump plans to obey the order tomorrow. But Meadows wants to move his case to federal court. Of course he does. He wants to escape racketeering charges. His reason? He was acting as part of his job as Chief of Staff for Trump. [CNBC]
While we're in Georgia, a federal judge has blocked parts of GA's trans care ban saying that it was likely unconstitutional. [CNN]
Across the border in Alabama, a federal circuit court dropped an injunction in effect reinstating their trans care ban. [Associated Press]
