How do we know that Trump is cornered? Everything is all about striking out at those pinning him down. Oh sure, we spent some time laughing at the latest DeSantis attempt to be human. But no, today was just one big (YUGE!) unhappy, orange rabbit.
It's possible that Trump listened to his lawyers and even more improbably they seem to have given him good advice. [ABC]
It's funny how Democrats need a reason to impeach someone. Republicans just have to disagree. We're looking at this in Wisconsin because the voters elected a liberal Supreme Court. We're looking at this in Georgia now because the DA dared to impeach a bunch of people on reasonable criminal charges. [Guardian]
Fascism here we come! People who were just doing their civic duty by serving on a grand jury (not the special grand jury) are being doxxed for voting to indict Trump and his co-conspirators. The grand jurors were named in the indictment according to Georgia statute. But intimidation is not supposed to be part of the deal. These are not public figures. They are not politicians that chose to put themselves up front. This is how it begins. Citizens attacking citizens. And at the heart of it is Trump. This is why he's on trial in the first place. [NBC]
Political discussion welcome.
