Some Republicans in Wisconsin are starting to realize that if we don't let undocumented workers obtain driver licenses our dairy industry might collapse. That would put a huge dent in our economy - particularly in rural Wisconsin. They still spout the usual nonsense about the border as if any of the migrants here crossed a land border. They'll still vote for Trump. But this is rural Wisconsin. You can't take a bus to work, the bank, anywhere. If you don't drive you can be be trapped on the farm like a slave or rely on other people for basic things. If it becomes so unattractive (and expensive with all the fines) for undocumented workers then they won't come. Even if the local white people were willing to do the work (they are not), there aren't enough of them. (ProPublica)

Republican officials in Georgia who breached voting machines after the 2020 election are likely to be charged with felonies and may, in combination with the current Fulton County case lead to racketeering charges for them and Trump. [Guardian]

The fake Electors in Michigan have pled not guilty at their arraignment and they expect to be let off which is ridiculous. They attempted to steal an election and we know they did it. [Detroit Free Press]

Oh yeah, Merrick Garland assigned a special counsel to investigate Hunter Biden. Still no connections to his dad. Dad's not making a huge deal about it. I think the whole thing is stupid considering the nepotism of the previous four years. One thing I will say: for all the whining that Republicans have been doing without any proof of anything, none of Trump's AG's dared to make it so obvious that they've got nothing. Garland and Biden are not afraid of Justice. [NBC]
