Not just a clam chowder, it had halibut and salmon as well.
And unlike another chowder I came across at a restaurant, this one had a completely different broth. They added a bit of creamer to the top when I ordered.
It was amazing.
This was while visiting what's called the Homer Spit, and it reminded me of Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco. Far less crowded though, and direct from the fishing boats.
They even had a fillet show.
Hubby didn't get to fish for halibut, but we did bring quite a bit of (sockeye) salmon home.
