Platonic |
Good day! Here's what's on television for tonight, Wednesday, June 14!
Our Top Pick tonight is Platonic (Apple TV+, midnight). The comedy series is about the rekindling of the friendship between Sylvia (Rose Byrne) and Will (Seth Rogen), childhood friends who had a falling out many years ago. Sylvia is a family person while Will is a new divorcee, and their friendship is kinda stuck in adolescent years. It isn't a groundbreaking series or one that demands attention, but I enjoy it for its breeziness and showing some decently developed characters.
Elsewhere, Runway has its all-stars, ABC remembers the Wonder, The Full Monty returns, Steve Harvey presides, Nancy Drew wants to undo a curse, Our Planet gets more explanation from David Attenborough, USA and E! get some Big D, and there are bad omens in Philadelphia.
