This week's Top Pick is new Australian "feminist noir comedy," Deadloch, which is not a Disney+ show about the Marvel cyborg.  That would be Deathlok, and they're two very different things.  Probably.  I mean, I haven't actually watched Deadloch, but judging by the trailer, and that this is being billed as a "feminist noir comedy," I feel safe in my assumption.  But for all I know, this thing could be non-stop Deathloks, so be aware.

*Magic Mike's Last Dance is making its streaming premiere on Max.  But, dear readers, do we really believe this will be his last dance?  If these box office numbers are anything to go by, yes, this very much will be his last dance.

*Hallmark has yet another mystery movie tonight, this one starring Lacey Chabert.  I have to admit I'm curious about these films.  Does anyone actually die in them?  Are the mysteries at all difficult to figure out?  How many of these things are being written by the same Hallmark AI that comes up with all their best nihilist Shoebox greeting cards?

*I'm making my way through Mrs Davis.  I have no idea where it's going, but I'm enjoying it so far.  The cast is fantastic, and I hope whatever the final reveal ends up being isn't a terrible letdown.
