The Federal Reserve Board is finally not raising the prime interest rate.
For now. They're going to do it later. This is almost the same as raising rates now. If anything it encourages large purchases now which would bring inflation back up and the Fed would tighten the screws again. [CNBC]

Daniel Penny has been indicted by a grand jury in the chokehold death of Jordan Neely. I don't believe that the charge is murder but it should be. [CBS]

Republicans in the Arizona House tried and failed to expel a Dem Rep who is a Presbyterian minister. She was making a point on separation of church and state by hiding Bibles that were left in common areas. No other scriptures were available. [NPR]
